Drug dealers, angry psychos, fire, and overly protective family members prevent the two of them from ever being board as they struggle to overcome danger while discovering one another.

I loved both of these characters. Mackenzie is sweet and determined without being weak or overly pushy; Hawk is rough around the edges but incredibly loving; and the supporting characters, especially the Hunter family, add the perfect sense of reality to the mix. Ms. Stone’s tale of romance amid danger and mayhem with just a little humor to balance things out provided a delightful read.

Despite a few redundancies and inconsistencies in dialogue and behavior, Case of Love is well written and a fun read overall. I would recommend it as an exciting escape.

I look forward to reading more from Tess Thieler!

The way the plot gets twisted around will have you turning the pages as fast as you can. You will also be pondering exactly where the author is leading you. I was completely surprised by the ending in a good way.
The two main characters, Simon and Evie, will have you rooting for their relationship from the beginning. There happens to be quite a bit of dialogue throughout the book. Some of the banter between the characters will have you laughing in places. Each character have demons from their past they have to deal with. Evie has more than anyone should have to deal with.
This is definitely a book for a suspense junkie to read. Please pick this up, you will not be disappointed in the least.

Ms. Kaye creates a world I want to escape to. Her Maine Man was a book full heart felt romance, sensual kisses, lies and deception. Just these four points will capture your attention from the beginning and keep your interest until the last word and still leave you yearning for more. In my reading experience, authors either describe their characters until we are tired of them or leave us hanging for details. Maddie and Jon are implanted in my mind. I know every feature, every movement, and every detail. I know just enough about both characters to keep up with the story without wondering more about them.

There are several twits and turns in this novel that will have the reader’s mind reeling with information and clueless to what’s going to happen. You can guess, you may even think you know, but Ms. Kaye will send a delightful surprise your way.

I honestly believe Sylvie Kaye has taken a simple story plot and made it into a masterpiece. I will be on the lookout for more books by her!

This was such a sweet and charming read. I really enjoyed the story. The characters were strong and encouraging. The characters clicked from the moment they met. The author, Miss Mae has a unique style, one I haven’t seen in a while. I have a feeling readers are going to grab her books up as if they were going out of style. The mystery with the plot is unlike any other. You think you know what is going to happen next, but you will be surprised to see where the plot of this story takes you next. I got so lost within the pages of this novel. I started it and I couldn’t wait to finish it. The drama is intense, but not overwhelming. It’s a great story and would I would definitely recommend to my family and friends, especially my teenage nieces. You should read this story, don’t be fooled by it being in the young adult genre. It is a book even the most mature of us can relate to and love.

Review- Were I to rate this novel on story alone, I would give it a much higher rating. J.O. Parks creates an inventive tale filled with intrigue. The two main characters are likable and complex. Unfortunately, the technical problems overshadow the interesting moments. Hunter’s Moon reads like a first draft. Readers’ heads will spin as they leap from one point of view to the next. Lack of punctuation and incorrect word choices often left me confused and forced to look back at the previous paragraph in an effort to understand who was speaking and what he or she actually meant to say. If you really love shape shifter stories with a bit of mystery, you might want to give Hunter’s Moon a try, but honestly, I’d pass.

I hope Ms. Lee will include them in future stories, particularly Arran and Gabrielle.Overall, Desire to Die For is a romantic, adventurous Vampire Paranormal, and I highly recommend it to fans of the genre.

The plot is thrilling and enchanting. If you love historicals you are going to love this story and you are going to love this author. Ms. Trissel truly has a magical way with words. I love the play on words in the title. It's one of my favorite things about the story. It starts slow though there is no shortage of action or sex, just a little predictable until the end when the ménage finally comes together. Then Ms. Michaels turns the heat right up and the slow start becomes an afterthought. I give Shutter three smacks because the plot did take some set up and made it a little slow, but I add another half a smack for the last ménage scenes because they were pretty fantastic and made it well worth the wait.

She is a beautiful storyteller. Ms. Trissel can take a story line and make it a work of art. And she did just that with Enemy of the King. This tale was so wonderful; it really was a magical read. As soon as I started reading I felt like I was in the pages. The author has a way of pulling you into the story; this is your story. I could see the characters and the images Ms. Trissel described as if I were there or watching a film on TV. It’s a classic read for the ages and I highly recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a true fairy-tale. Thank you Beth Trissel for providing your readers with another amazing read! I cannot wait for your next release.

FlipSide Erotica is a collection of short erotica stories. The author claims that some of these stories actually happened to him, some are his imagination and the rest are stories that did happen, but he changed the facts to fit how he wished things had happened.

This book is not considered an erotic romance. This is a book about sex, sex and more sex. It’s really like reading porn. A way to get your fix, so to say. I would not recommend this book to a romance fan. The stories are told in first person and really seem amateur, this book was not what I had originally thought it was. The one thing I did like was how the stories are first told in the woman’s perspective and then the man’s perspective. Although as a woman, one who appreciates sex, and erotic romance, I just could not see any solid foundation with this writing. Apparently this author is working on a second volume…maybe it will be better than this one! If you are looking to read short stories all in the 1st person, and practically reading porn than this is a book for you! But if you are looking for stories that involve emotion and everyday life with hot sex mixed in this book is not for you.

Six, sexy studs in all, the Coleman clan made me laugh and made me want to be part of their family. Vivian Arendt shows a real knowledge of men in her depiction of the brothers. They are naughty, authentic and utterly irresistible. I give Rocky Mountain Heat four smacks with the option for more once the series is completed. It's hot and sweet right now, but I could see the rest of the brothers jacking that up to smoking!

It is a short story and in a different sort of reality but Ava Rose Johnson keeps to the important issues at hand and like I said, I couldn't look away. The sex scenes are hot and rough but always affectionate. Once the submission training starts there's even more love between the three and I'm glad there were some things left undone because I want to read more as soon as possible. I give The Wolves' Submissive five smacks. You should read it and tomorrow is probably a good day.

Raquel's Abel is a heart-warming story. It is always amazing when the chubby, down on her luck girl makes good and seizes the day. Leigh Barbour's side cast of Raquel's grandmother, nurse and sister adds fun sprinkles of humor and humanity. I give it three smacks because it's not to my personal taste and I wanted to smack Raquel for being so judgmental and whiney at times. People with personal interest in weight troubles and enjoy a sweet, nearly non-sexual story will enjoy it because Raquel's Abel fits.

Review: Romantic suspense is one of my favorite genres to read. When an author has you questioning who the murderer is til almost the end, you know you have a good book. There are several twists and turns and a couple scenes which have you wondering where the author is taking you on this journey. Don't worry because in the end, it all comes to a happy ending.A couple of the characters got under my skin. One in particular, Holly, I just could not stand. Once you start reading, you will understand why. There is an underlying story with two of the other characters, Karen and Greg, I would love to know more about. At first, I was a little confused in the plot and some of the characters. This is why I could not give it five smacks. However the author, Jane Greenhill, made me a believer of her story telling ability by the end. I would like to read more of her work in the future. You will not be disappointed picking up this book.

This was a fantastic story, highly sensual, sexual and romantic, as well. Taryn, Richard and Caleb’s immediate and intense connection is tempered by her insecurities and some suspense and drama that make all three of them take a step back and decide if their love for each other is enough to pull them through and make their arrangement permanent. I especially liked Caleb’s ability to let his love for both partners shine, sometimes enough for all three, until Richard and Taryn can let down their guard enough to love him back the way all three of them want and deserve. The emotions and reactions are well-thought out, written and believable. Definitely a page turner and worth the time – highly recommended reading!!

Review: When you start a book you can't put down, you know you have a winner on your hands. The author, Nancy J. Parra has woven a tale of intrigue, mystery and love. When you first start to read about Jennifer and Kane, you really don't know how to take them. Jennifer is an independent woman with high standards/morals. She is not to keen on having what she thinks is a playboy, Kane, in her home. Kane, on the other hand, will take you by surprise at some of the things he does for Jennifer and Thomas throughout the book.
What I loved most about this book, and the reason I gave it such a high rating is the way the author deals with Thomas. Thomas is Jennifer's son and an important part of her life. I like the fact the book is just not focused completely on Jennifer and Kane but brings Thomas to the front of the story as well.
I read this book online. However, it is available in print also. I would highly recommend both versions. Personally, I would love to have this book in print. It would make a nice addition to your library.

If you read this book, plan to read it in one sitting, because it’s very difficult to pull away. There is no moment of downtime as Charis and Jason navigate the corridors of the INS Padigion while trying to deal with their history together. This was my first Kim Knox book, but I went right to her website to see what other delights await. (Don’t miss the free reads there, too!)

I enjoyed the friendship that Misty and Garron developed and the love that grew as the story went on was a beautiful thing. Watching Misty come into her own was a great thing to see and the scene in the playroom where Misty welcomes and begins to enjoy her feelings for both Travis and Garron is a great read.

Michelle Cary did a wonderful job with this book. She has brought a lot of depth into her characters and the mystery she brought to the story only enhanced the enjoyment of the book.I truly enjoyed this story and will defiantly be looking for more reads from this author.

This was such a fun story that I am so glad I spent a few hours of my afternoon reading. I laughed when I read the part about her waiting to see if Ashton Kutcher would be popping out of somewhere! The characters were those I could easily relate to and I loved how persistent Jared was. Kudos to the author for not making the heroine a skinny minny model type!

I have never read anything by Kathryn Gerbert before and I enjoyed reading The One That Got Away. The storied just flowed at the perfect pace with the perfect balance of drama and humor! I wish I could give this story a higher rating than the highest that we have. I highly recommend this book to ANYONE who loves a fun-filled charming read. The One That Got Away is a book that proves that love doesn't always happen when we think it will. I so wish that this story was longer! Hey, maybe we can convince Ms. Gerbert to do a sequel? I am not above begging!

Sure, the sex was thoroughly erotic and HOT, but I never felt like the author was throwing sex in purely for the sake of sex. There was always an underlying respect between Lee and David and I appreciated it all the more. Whether the reader is in the lifestyle or not, she will be able to relate to these characters and for that, The Trust She Yields gets five smacks. Oh heck, I'm giving it six because I'm a rule-breaker and this book deserves it!

Master Of The Mountain is a beautiful story about a woman coming into her own. Rebecca is dealing with self-image issues and is extremely afraid of dogs because of an attack as a child. She has no idea about the world of BDSM and has to be brought in slowly and learn that it is ok to want and get excited sexually by certain kinds of things that others may be offended by.
Matt and Rebecca’s sex life leaves a lot to be desired. So Rebecca agrees to go with him to a swingers weekend vacation at Serenity Lodge as a last ditch effort to try and fix their relationship. Once there she tries to go along with the swingers but quickly finds out that swinging is not for her. She runs to hide in her cabin only to find Matt there already enjoying himself with Ashley. So she finds the only place she can to sleep: the front porch swing. Rebecca may be freezing but she refuses to go back to either the cabin or inside the lodge where the rest of the swingers are having it up. Logan the lodge owner finds her asleep and on her way to hypothermia. He brings her up to his quarters and warms her up. Once she wakes up and is coherent Logan recognizes what excites her. Once again Rebecca thinks that she is rejected because of her weight. He may have told her he loved her body but to her actions speak louder than words. When Logan finally realizes he loves her and needs her he goes to the city to find her but instead he finds her phone disconnected and her apartment empty. Will Logan find Rebecca and prove just how much he loves her? Can Rebecca get over her self-image and insecurities?
I was hooked on this book from the very first page. I truly enjoyed the depth of the characters. It was great to see Rebecca grow and start to loose her insecurities and let herself feel good. Logan is a great alpha male. Dominating yet caring and with his own insecurities it makes him all the more endearing. The trust and love that blossoms between the two was a beautiful thing to read. The scene in the club was defiantly a wonderful show of their love and the way Logan gets her to trust his massive dog Thor was sweet.
This book is not to be missed. I cannot wait for more reads from this author, especially more from some of the other characters in this story. I would love to see Jake or Simon have their own story.

Review: Andi can’t forgive Darren for letting her die. Ok, he brought her back after he captured the bad guy, but a thing like that is a deal breaker for her. Now, five years later, she’s in the detective in charge of a magical drug bust, and Darren is the only one with the skills to help her before more people die.

This is a good story about love the second time around. Everyone makes mistakes, and Darren has made a great big one but Cari Z has brought us a character who is not one to just forgive and forget and move on. Andi doesn’t give her heart easily and hasn’t been able to take it back at all. Having to work with someone who has hurt a girl that badly is just, ouch! (Been there, done that) And of course we all root for Darren to be much more than he seems.

I recommend this story, the scenes flowed from one to the next in a way that made it very hard to put down. I always love a story where the heroine can hold her own with the big boys, and hold onto her femininity. I’d gladly read any more stories that Cari wants to give us with these characters or any more she’d like to share.

I love to read a book that has a sweet message about love and God. It Happened One Hurricane is a book that you don't want to miss. It's a book that EVERYONE can read which really appeals to me because I have three teenage daughters who constantly ask me for books to read. Most of the time it's on an adult level so the answer has to be no. It Happened One Hurricane is one of those kinds of books that I feel great comfort in letting my daughters read. It has a message that I think just about everyone needs to read.

I love reading work by Carla Rossi. Her writing style flows smoothly and the subject matter is very relatable. Her characters always have problems that seem like "real life" problems which is what draws me into her stories. I recommend this story to anyone who would like a really fun, sweet and quick read. You will not be disappointed.

Ms. Humphrey has a skill with humor and timing that is exceptional. It draws you in and charms you handily without ever overwhelming the story nor its characters. Her sense of setting puts you right into the heart of Italy without seeming over-done. This after all, is the story of a woman chronicling her travels, so the descriptives are a story enhancement and indeed become an added and welcome character of Roman Holiday.
Her characters are appealing, and realistically drawn, both finding their way through human foibles and dreams. I found myself longing for a bit more chemistry, a slightly more sensual sizzle between the hero and heroine that would augment their growing feelings, but with subtle insights and well-peppered revelation, Ms. Humphrey manages to draw the reader into their relationship nonetheless.
The wrap up of several intense and detailed family issues felt rushed in the last few chapters of the book yet ultimately pave the way to a complete and satisfying ending for a hero and heroine you can't help but root for.

Too many secrets between the three make for drama and hurt feelings and in the end, can three in such a complex relationship work anyway?

I was ready not to like the story. The first fifty pages is very chick-lit in tone which is fine, but I was expecting romance. When Owen entered the story, that's when the emotion did and things started to get mighty interesting. With Archer and Gretchen's forceful personalities, the story needed the eager to please, tenderhearted, sweetness he offered and he made the other two characters better. The computer gaming and band story line aren't my usual world of preference but the plot focuses on the characters and their relationship rather than trying to impress with their career prowess which made it readable to someone who doesn't play video games. I give the story 4 smacks because it did start out slow, but it finished extremely well. I'd recommend it to people who enjoy some boy on boy action, as well as ménage-three ways. Heaven Sent 6: Revelations not only offers really great sex scenes, but also the love that makes the reader want it all to work out.

A sensual read, it is the powerful conflict and thrilling suspense throughout the Awakening Allaire which really stands out. It is a book that captures your attention and refuses to let go of your senses. A brilliantly talented writer, I find the writing style of Ms. Church to be electrifying and very convincing. The characters endured pure hell as well as pure heaven and I enjoyed every bit of my stay with them. The strong bond between Devon and Allaire made me continue to hang on to the hope that they would both make it out of their troubles with their relationship intact. The plot was stunning, very solid and was laced with intrigue and suspense. I held my breath when Allaire was being tortured and Ms. Church painted a remarkably vivid picture of her torture. I my heart ached for both Allaire and Devon. Honestly, I can't say enough about Awakening Allaire other than you will not want to miss this book. It is an exceptional read that people will be talking about for a long time to come. Any book by Ms. Church is now an automatic add to my keeper shelf! I hear there is a sequel to Awakening Allaire called Avenging Allaire that will be out soon. You can count on me being one of the first in line to get my hands on it.

Finn is completely enchanting and balances the sometimes neurotic Diego with his humor and naiveté. I give Finn five smacks. It is charming and sweet and makes the characters the story instead of relying on sex to push it through to memory. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a little fantasy and variety in their love stories. I certainly won't be forgetting Finn, anytime soon.

Hauk Ludvikson is fascinated by the new diver on his crew. At first uncertain of her skills, Star quickly proves herself to him, even if some of the others on his team take a little longer to warm up to her. Things heat up quickly when it seems that someone wants the mystery car to stay unexamined, and will go to any means necessary, putting the lives of the crew, and especially Star, on the line.

Salvaged is a very good story. There were two main mysteries involved, the one surrounding the car as well as one surrounding Star Fisher and the nightmares that haunt her. J.S. Marlo wove everything together with quite a bit of skill. The characters are unique as well, and I enjoyed all the interactions between the crew. It was also interesting to get glimpses into what the bad guys were thinking and doing, although it would’ve been nice if the villains would’ve been less idiotic. Even so, there were surprises enough to keep it interesting, even if the pace could’ve been a bit smoother. If you want a good mystery with a romance liberally sprinkled throughout, Salvaged is the book for you!

At one point I was a little worried she would give up too much just to fit into his life, but Jan Minter’s heroine is not anyone’s doormat, thank heavens.

Overall I enjoyed the story and had a hard time putting it down. There were torrid yet tender love scenes between our hero and heroine and murderous kidnappers who would not be deterred from their evil plot. Whether you like suspense or romance, it was a real page-turner. Would Joe and Toot get together, would they even survive? And what would Toot’s family do to a former employee who dared to trespass on the family princess? You’ll have to read all the way to the end to find out. It’s not a long story, just the perfect length for a hot summer afternoon’s reading, under a nice leafy tree. With chilled white wine maybe....

Take food, magic and add in one hot instructor. Bring to a slow simmer and watch the magic begin. What more does a girl need to add to this recipe? In my opinion absolutely nothing, it is as good as it can get.
This story was a heartwarming tale with a dash of humor thrown in. I enjoyed the lead character of Aidan very much. She is a feisty woman with lots of courage and a take no crap attitude. She stuck to her guns and had no qualms about what others might think of her. Aidan does what she loves no matter what. Although he tries even the hero Matteus has no power against the pull she has on him.

Aidan loves to cook but no mater how hard she tries it seems that all her efforts end up in disasters. In pops Matteus and he must explain and teach her to use her magical skills.
While he teaches Aidan, Matteus begins to have feelings of his own for her. He must sort them out for his own personal reasons of which he cannot tell Aidan about. As Aidan fumbles through learning to tame and use her magic skills the two of them fumble through the growing attraction between them.
When Matteus botches things up he must try to win back her trust and fix things between Aidan and himself.
Will he be able to win Aidans heart? Can they have a happily ever after? Will Matteus trust Aidan enough to tell her his secret and stop fighting his attraction to her? You must read the story to find out these answers for yourself.
With its quick flow and endearing characters Foodies guide To Kitchen Magic is a sweet story. It is a great tale of love and trust.
If you enjoy spirited heroines and daring heroes this is the story for you. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be on the look out for more stories from Sandra Sookoo.

I felt like I knew them from the first few pages. I wanted nothing more than those two to find happiness together and have their happily-ever-after. You want nothing but the best for them. Also the plot wasn’t something you read all the time, but it was believable. I could actually believe what the characters were going through. I could believe their feelings, dilemmas and love. The book is heavy in passion and sex, but there is love and respect as well. It’s a story I highly recommend to all romance lovers.

Under a Rodeo Moon was such a touching story. I loved the characters so much in this story. I was really happy with the ending that they got. After the Rodeo was another great read. I loved the overall plot with this story. But my favorite was One Starlight Night. I just felt so involved with this story. I felt like I was watching a movie, the details, descriptions and facts were so vivid and real. And ladies…and some men…who doesn’t love a cowboy? If you do, than this is an anthology you must check out.

This was a great book! I really enjoyed it. I’m not much of one to try new authors, but something about this book drew me in and I’m so happy it did! Normally with stories like this one I have a hard time keeping up. The author has so much going on and you get confused and lost and you’re like…hey what the heck is going on? But Ms. Long has written a story that is very well in tact. It’s easy to keep up with; it’s easy to see what is going on with the characters and with the drama going on around them. I cannot wait to see more from this author, I am sure she is going to do great things. I recommend this book to any fantasy lover.

Valkyrie a vampire must leave her home of the forest with her son Anthony a dhampir to save him. He must have some of his fathers’ blood or he will die. They must venture into the city to find his father. A human she has not seen in years. Once there they must learn to fit into the human world go through many trials.

This story was well written and was interesting all the way to the end. Nice to see the main character of Valkyrie (the female vampire) having doubts and being scared instead of the usual vamp female who gets every man she sees. I enjoyed the interaction between her and her son Anthony as well. He had the typical adolescent reactions to all he learns when they are in the human world. Being a mother myself I sympathized with Valkyrie when she and her son argued.
The two go through many adventures in the city and at one point they are separated and Valkyrie must ask humans for help. Once she finds a man that she thinks is Anthonys’ father she must enlist his help in finding her son.

Valkyries struggles with what she is and how to be more human were interesting to say the least. She must learn to act human and how to interact with others without turning into a monster. Many trials await her in this story. There are many twists in this book, some you see coming and others take you by surprise.
I gave this book a 3.5 because it kept you guessing to the end and kept the reader entertained till the last page. The plot was continuous and never repetitive.

Angela Lam Turpin did a good job with descriptions and character depth. Even with it’s many characters and places this story was never confusing and always had the reader turning the page for more.

Claudia is sassy, Blake is just plain sex on a stick and when the two literally run into each other the first time, sparks fly. Both commitment-phobes, neither wanted or expected the instant, deeper-than-lust attraction for each other. When Blake discovers Claudia’s phone sex hotline secret, his anger and pain are palpable, as is Claudia’s when she knows she’s lost him, just as she realizes she’s in love with him. Fortunately for her, Blake is sexy AND smart, and quickly discovers he loves her as well and the phone sex line thing? Who cares, he wants her anyway. Yay! I say go ahead, buy this book and prepare yourself for a fun, very hot, enjoyable read!

Hawke is an impressive hero – kind hearted and protective, a book nerd with a touch of Harley Davidson sex appeal – what's not to love?! Sage, meanwhile, is a tender and completely appealing heroine. She's a devoted mother, a consummate hostess, and Hawke's perfect allure.

In fact if I have one quibble with this book it's that the development of Sage and Hawke's relationship felt a bit uneven to me. I found myself longing for more direct interaction and development between them through the first half of the book. Much seems to happen internally and off stage rather than in direct, one-on-one interaction. These are two deserving characters. I wanted to see more of their growth and interaction so I'd be even more invested in the outcome.
The second half of the book is a total thrill ride – Sage and her daughter Pia (who have the most wonderful, heart-stealing rapport) face an enormous challenge, and Hawke's caring heart and devotion helps them pave the way through the difficulties presented and leaves the reader a happy and much longed for resolution.

Kudos, Ms. Drake – when can I visit the Thistle Dew Inn??

The first thing I was tempted to do after I read this was deduct a full point from my rating. Why? Because I’m exhausted. Shame on you, author Mary Quast – I started reading this book a bit too late in the evening, fully intending to mosey through a few chapters and retire at a decent hour. Didn’t happen. The birds were chirping and dawn was breaking this morning when I finished. I had to know what happened to Mike and Lauren. I expected a happily-ever-after, it’s a given. But the lovely twists and turns kept me planted in my chair, intent on getting to that ending before my head hit the pillow. I think the excerpt above is plenty to get a reader interested in the premise of the book but I will say this story was full of life and fun, sexy, interesting secondary characters (which, if done well, is a huge bonus for me to read about) that I can’t wait to hear more about (Trevor, in particular). Mary Quast also has a great eye for detail and description and everywhere the book took me, I could see the scenes very clearly. Plus, I used to spend lots of time in the Adirondacks as a kid, so that was like going back for me. Aside from a few typos and some strange formatting that distracted occasionally, this book was fantastic. Nice job, Ms Quast! I definitely want to read more of this series, I think your other readers will love this book and you’ll find news fans as well!

Surviving With Love was one of those kinds of books that have it all. The action, well rounded characters, gripping plot line and a lot of sexual tension made this book one of the best books that I have ever read. The imagery was breathtaking and I actually felt as though I were there. Stacey's character was a little spitfire who was used to working alone and doing things her way. Cord's character was strong, stubborn and oh so sexy. Seriously, you will fall in love with Cord. Who wouldn't love an ex-marine who had a gift with children? From a powerful beginning to a captivating ending, this book was certainly a page turner. Ms. Vickery has done a magnificent job with Surviving With Love. I was shocked to find out this was her first book and believe me, just reading it, it will blow you away! She smoothly weaves humor with drama and gives the reader just what they crave, a captivating read that holds your attention with memorable characters that will not soon be forgotten. I not only enjoyed the book immensely but learned about an occupation I never knew existed. Throughout the book you will learn just what a tracker does and how they operate. It was truly fascinating. I strongly suggest you take a moment, buy the book and set aside some time for yourself. You will love this book and will hate to see this book end. There is nothing better than losing yourself in a thrilling and riveting love story. I give this book 5 smacks because it simply does not get better than this.

I loved the plot of this story, oh and the setting was wonderful. I just can’t believe how much detail the author went into without being boring about it. Ms. Trissel is great at creating believable and loveable characters. She’s also great at giving us a happily ever after…kind of a bittersweet ending…No, I can’t tell why, you’ll just have to read the book for yourself to figure that out. I just love book covers, usually they are the first things I notice about a book. If the cover can draw my attention than I’ll normally read the book. The cover for Daughter of the Wind is absolutely gorgeous. Whoever the cover artist is did a wonderful job. And to me the book stood out as well. It was a great read and one any romantic suspense or Beth Trissel fan should read. Beth Trissel is a new author for me and one I will be looking for in the future as well.

This is an awesome story; I instantly felt a kinship with Sarah. She has a solid determination to make her life her own. She’s a strong woman with views I respect; I love her ‘I belong to no one but myself attitude’. Lisa Pietsch does a wonderful job keeping her readers entertained. She writes with a wit that will have you laughing at the antics and begging to know more. She makes her character believable. I absolutely loved the characters, every one of them carried their own personality, Sarah is someone many can connect with and the bad girl in us would like to be. Vince, whew, all I could think is ‘I want one’. This one had me feeling protective and protected at the same time. The over all story is truly a work of art. It was defiantly worth reading and gives it two smacks. While I would add it to my read again pile, in the end I felt a little let down. I was hoping in that all that built up sexual frustration would blow the top off. I would defiantly recommend this book to someone, the story line is great and it is full of a wonderful cast of characters, and I can’t wait to read the next one.

I especially enjoyed the development of Shannon and Ravenleigh as they both grew in the relationship. This story took some twists and turns that I didn’t expect and made the story even more fun to read. Aside from a few typos that distracted me, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fun, sexy historical romance. You won’t be disappointed.

This book held my interest through the entire book. Through the whole book I had guessed who the killer was and in the end I was right, but it did leave you second-guessing yourself a couple of times. Ashton's Secret was very well written and the story flowed perfectly. I never found a part in the book that bored me. When I started reading this book, I planned on only reading a couple of pages. I started reading it at work and before the day was out, I hadn't done any work. I read the book straight through. Ashton's Secret will pull you into the town of Ashton making you understand and love the characters. The whirlwind romance of Meghan and Nick kept me wanting to read. This is a book that you won't regret reading.

The author had a way of giving us a very descriptive plot line without ever giving away to much information at one time. There are some authors who leave their usual writing style to try the erotica field. In my opinion, not many are able to make such a transition so easily. Ms. Campbell has found her niche. I think she should continue with more books in this genre. It’s as if she created erotica or it was invented just for her. Both characters are trying to pretend to be something other than what they are. Cole believes only women want him for his money because of his ex-wife. Kristine believes the resort is a place for sex! Can the two learn to trust each other to make this affair work or will their affair end?
This is a very steamy fast paced book that I believe any Phyllis Campbell fan will enjoy and I believe there will be many readers drawn to her other books as well. She’s an author you have to add to your must-read list, trust me you won’t be sorry!

Instant Gratification was exactly that – instantly gratifying. I’ll admit, I’ve never read a Jill Shalvis book before. Let me just say, I’ve already downloaded her other available titles onto my Kindle – yes, that makes her stories Kindle-worthy and that’s a very good thing because it means they go everywhere I go. But, I digress…Instant Gratification worked on so many wonderful, sexy, fun levels. You have Emma Sinclair, a rather prickly physician with issues that prevent her from wanting to give away control of her heart and the tender-hearted, intelligent, hunk-a-burnin’ love mountain bum, Stone Wilder. Emma meets Wilder after he suffers a climbing injury (“just show me where the band aids are”) and they’re off and running with amazing sexual tension and chemistry and just the right amount of witty banter. Stone, owner/operator of an outdoor adventure company, methodically breaks down Emma’s barriers while she wrestles with the idea that finishing her stint in her father’s clinic and returning to New York just might not be what she wants after all. And all the while you’re watching other characters in the story live their own, interesting lives which, as an author myself, always makes for a richer and more entertaining read. The ending is fun and sweet and happily ever after. My only other recommendation other than putting this on top of your TBR pile? Read the first book in this new series, Instant Attraction, first. Not necessary but will make reading Instant Gratification even more gratifying.

I love how this story starts; it has a slow yet addicting hook that pulls you in. Olivia and Trey are two characters’ that are easy to connect to. They come across as normal everyday people, just living the hand life has dealt them. The emotion is portrayed evenly through out the story, and the author has done a great job in keeping the tension strung enough to keep you intrigued, but not strung out so thin that you get bored. She has a wonderfully teasing way of righting that makes you want to yell ‘OH! Don’t you dare let him/her walk away!’. I love Trey and Olivia; they are a great mix of two opposite personalities. This over all to me is a great story; it’s down to earth and easy to get lost in. Its show’s events that could happen to just about anyone on any given day. I give this book four smacks, it truly is an awesome read, and a definite re-read for me.

If you’re looking for a book with characters that you can relate to, this is a book for you. It’s a great read if you want to loose yourself for a few moments, and have that little adventure most long for.
